aka w2 is a video improviser. His own prerecorded imagery is deconstructed
then reconstructed on his Video Shredder. In the early 1970s, he was
one of the first video animators. At Computer Image Corp he animated
letter and words for the Children's Television Workshop. As artist-in-residence
at the Experimental TV Center, 1972-75, he pioneered video performance
touring with the Paik-Abe Video Synthesizer. He is co-founder of 911
Gallery, the first digital art gallery on the World Wide Web.
