David Last makes music and drawings in Brooklyn New York. Known for
a deeply hypnotic and unique style of funky rhythm programming, Last's
music is currently being released in several flavors. New York label
The Agriculture has made waves releasing his detailed downtempo/reggae/hiphop
jigsaw puzzles on CD and vinyl. Labels such as Goosehound (Kompakt)
and Staubgold have released more dancefloor or minimalist works by
Last and Osaka collaborator Segeke, under the name Pocket Pet. He is
currently at work on a follow up to his Agriculture release "The
Push Pull," playing in a live dub reggae band, and making a bizarre
hip hop record for the Japanese label Soup Disk
